Last year’s Shit Shop Show was THE SHIT! This year’s Shit Shop show didn’t fail to entertain and live up to its expectations. Models dressed in the fanciest most STRANGE clothes walked the catwalk to the sickest old school Hip Hop beats (Bonnie definitely has good taste in music!! And thank you for the even sicker tunes at the Aftershow party!) and I got to meet and take along two of my readers to fashion week.
As for the clothing I’m the last person to wear her catwalk SHIT and I’m probably not the only one. But it’s so Bonnie and she is Bonnie Strange.
She’s never been afraid to be different and share her vision of what’s the SHIT. And I guess that’s why she has such a great following and it’s one of the reason why although most of the spectators may never wear her clothes, they still believe it was a good show and anticipate for what’s next up Bonnie’s sleeve.
I’m always feeling that every experience, every thought and every outfit I publish on the blog is like sharing an experience with you. Although in the very beginning I did feel like I was talking to a big wide webspace or myself. That changed with the first comments and the realization that I had a readership and one that could respond. But being able to invite two of my readers along to attend a fashion show with me is truly sharing an experience with you and it doesn’t get more real than that. So I was really happy and also a little excited to meet the face of at least two of you guys and hang out. And it turned out to be quite fun. Noha and Mel (Mel blogs! So you can read about her first fashion week experience. Definitely go check it out!) were really fun.
Aftershow party pretty much looked like dancing to the best music, hanging out with my friends, some of the models and chit chatting to Sarah Anessa & Co. (You may remember her from GNTM. She’s a really sweet girl actually..) and having a drink with Mel and Noha.
Definitely a great way to end Day 1 at Fashion Week.
