Friday was actually my first time I entered the new Nike store at Berlin Ku’damm. I didn’t make it to their opening because I was at lunch with The 7 Virtues and since then I haven’t found time to check it out. On Friday I didn’t go their to have a look at their new store or gear up on new fitness clothes (nothing keeps you more motivated than a pair of shoes, a new sports bra or the perfect fit fitness leggings right?) or Air Max 1. I was there to attend one of Nike’s new fitness classes part of the NTC (Nike Training Club) program. Nike now offers, besides their really cool app with virtual trainers and progress tracking, fitnesses classes like yoga, Pilates, NTC, Core Strength, Dance and much more with real trainers in their own studio.
Yoga Pants: THANKS TO Forever 21
The new Nike store comes with a little studio above the shopping area where classes take place. And I had Nike sign me up for Dance class. I gotta admit, at first I thought I landed in the wrong class because the warm up routine was like a full body work out. What we did is usually my entire work out.. just saying! But soon after I thought I was pushed to my limits and ready to die we began with a dance routine. We danced to Beyonce! I still practice it at home so I won’t forget the routine. It was real Queen B like! Ah LOVE.
I had so much fun and I’d love to go back there for another session. It all took place in a small group of not more than 10 and my trainer was super nice and lovely. Cool thing is you can even lend shoes for the classes, but you need to bring your own bottle, clothes and a towel to wipe that sweat off. Trust me, you’ll sweat 😉
The classes are totally free and you can sign up here and read more about the single classes offered, but you gotta be quick because unfortunately they’re super popular and rapidly booked out.
I really wanna try yoga and pilates especially since it’s with the same trainer I had on Friday and I really really like her.
