Again, I had the chance to slip backstage with Phillip to sneak in some picture thanks to Wella. We came quite late, only minutes before the show was to start but as I have told you over and over again, no show starts on time. We came right in time for the models getting their hair done by the Wella team. Marina Hoermanseder went for a sleek ponytail in wet look this season, finishing of the hairdo with a pastel leather hair bow that is so typical Marina Hoermanseder. The hair was fixated with a extra dash of hairspray from Wella’s
Under maximum stress the Wella professionals team kept their cool and worked girl after girl.
Already running late the atmosphere backstage was intense. Cramped with way to many photographers, dressers, models, the occasional familiar blogger face that got to slip in for a minute and admits it all Marina herself running back and forth trying to get her work done to perfection. You could cut the tension with a knife.
I think never have I been in such an intense atmosphere. I’ve been backstage before and I know how hectic it can get, don’t get me wrong, but this was an entirely new level of its own kind.
But I stood their admiring Marina as she lost her cool once, so human, and you could see the passion and dedication for her own work and creation written across her entire face and chest.
The more was I happy to see her sigh of relief as the show descended and she came out to be cheered by the press, spectators and fans of the house.
Rightfully so. The show was crazy in all aspects of the word – all positive of course.
Marina Hoermanseder is truly amazing.
Thank you Wella once again for this experience. Merci beaucoup!
