About a month ago Liu Jo opened its second store in Berlin right on the heart of the Ku’damm, Berlin’s most famous shopping street. To celebrate the occasion I got to choose a total Liu Jo look for the party. I decided to try something a little bit more crazy and went with a total floral print look – from the biker jacket to matching skirt and the handbag – it’s print all over! I paired the look with my own red overknee boots I bought at Aldo, just to give the grunge look a bit of a pop but kept it simple with a black turtle neck, kind of adding a bit of chic and something daring to the look. Let me put it this way: I put the “chic” on grunge – grunge chic. Fun fact: Liu Jo’s Italian PR Manager wore the same jacket, so I guess I picked a collection it piece 😀 She was such a lovely lady and I loved meeting the entire Italian team. Italians are always so warm and fun and fashionable!
Next to celebrating the opening of the new store, which btw is really pretty (loving the interior design! Think glass meets velvet pink), I browsed the new collection as well. Liu Jo really has some beautiful pieces to offer in their A/W collection. It feels very high luxe, but the prices do not break the bank. My favorite pieces (besides my outfit of course) is the red tailored suit I nearly picked for the party and the gingham coat. Probably gonna stop by the store soon, because they had really cute winter coats. What do you guys think of a total print look?
