After a very busy Monday – ZEITmagazin Konferenz, Nokia workshop and partying a little too long at the Stylight aftershow party, I of course slept through my first show Ivanman at 10.30 but made it in time for the next thing on my oh so busy schedule: Lena Hoschek. And I’m happy I made it on time, because it was truly magical. Lena Hoschek never fails to wow with her shows. Although Lena Hoschek is not exactly my style, her shows want to always make me channel my inner lady and get lost in her vintage touch and the world of Pin-Up and sexy women. She’s super retro in a really good way.
Lots of lace, seethrough details, glitter and swinging dresses. And this time it was all about the color red. See the finale on my instagram account @LisforLOIS.
Rebekka Ruetz unfortunately did not wow me much this time. I remember in summer it was a great show and I’ve been visiting her shows since my very first Fashion Week, but I just wasn’t digging the designs this time. The beaded leather harnesses caught my attention though. Nice details!
Sopopular of course was beyond. Yet again! I gotta admit I’m a big fan of guys who dress well and Daniel Blechmann designs the perfect wardrobe for men: classy, edgy, casual – all of it. Big fan of the leather harness going on here, gives a special touch to the collection, a nice detail. Especially the chest belt, which I, btw, believe is totally wearable even on a casual day. Paired with a plain white Tee, black pants and sneakers – good to go! Sopopular once again was one of my favourite if not favourite show of the entire week. I’m developing a serious thing for men’s fashion…
Highlight: Backstage at Alena Akhmadullina presented by ELLE. But more on that in a separate post. The show itself was amazing!
Done with my shows my day continued at the Blue Yard Party by 14oz which was just a walk away from the Topshop Party. I met up with Nelly and took her and Vary along and together we enjoyed some good old Curry36 wurst in a relaxed atmosphere and checked out the new Nudie Jeans Repair Shop and the accompanying pop-up stores Edwin Europe and Denham Jeans, live act by The Fume included. Edwin Europe and Denham Jeans have closed now, they were open throughout January but the Nudie Jeans Repair Shop is permanent and open Mo-Sa from 11-20 o’clock. There was a private screening in one of the Pop Up Store’s rooms of “Denim Psycho” (click to watch!) which was really awesome. It’s a remake of the 2000 Sundance premiered short film. They even had popcorn!
My night ended ended just a block further, as we moved on to the Topshop Topman Loves Berlin Party. And it was great! Mø performed live on stage, kept the crowd going like the bar kept the drinks coming. The usual crowd was around, lots of my fashion friends – my boys from Homme To Go, Frank from iheartberlin, Leni from Paperboats.. I just chilled with Vary and Nelly, enjoyed the evening, til we decided to call it a night and get some rest for the next day of fashion.
Stole the pic of Leni and me from Frank, rest is from my iPhone. More party pictures as usual on iheartberlin.
